Children between the ages of 1-5 years are welcome at Pre-School. We will be happy to discuss individual session times with you when you register your child. You are welcome to come along to Pre-School for a visit but for security reasons, please ring the number above to make an appointment.
We accept a number of vouchers from employer schemes, and we are registered to accept the Early Years Education (EYE) Grant for eligible two year olds and all three year olds.
The Village Pre-School has exclusive use of the village hall for most of the time. We use a small room for our Nursery where the children who are aged from 1 - 2 can play with lots of toys and equipment suitable for their age. We also have cots for those younger children who still need a sleep during the day.
In the larger hall we have an area set aside for our ‘kindergarten’ that is exclusively for our 2 year old children. Then we have the rest of the large hall for the children aged 3 and 4. We have a lot of small world and role play equipment, ICT equipment including iPads and touch screen computers, as well as art and craft materials.
We have a large outside area part grass and part patio with a large number of climbing equipment and houses as well as more physical equipment.
