About Parrywood Childcare

Parrywood Childcare is owned by the mother and daughter team of Claire and Stacey Parry. Claire opened both The Village Pre-School Upham, and Parrywood Pre-School, Eastleigh before  Stacey joined the team at Parrywood in 2009 to provide admin and business support before reading for and qualifying as a Level 3 Early Years Educator in 2018 and completing her Early Years Initial Training in 2020, gaining Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS). Claire holds Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), the predecessor to EYTS.

They currently operate two Pre-Schools; Parrywood Pre-School in Eastleigh, and The Village Pre-School in Upham.

It is our objective to make our Pre-Schools accessible to children and families from all sections of the community.
At our Pre-Schools, parents and children can expect courteous and prompt attention to their needs.

Each Pre-School is run independently by a team of qualified managers and staff, with each school working to achieve the same high standards in care and education.

In each of our settings we have staff who are qualified Makaton Sign Language users, and we use it as part of our daily routine (during registers, singing nursery rhymes) and we also encourage the children to use the signs.

We offer a warm welcome to each individual child and family. We aim to provide a caring environment within which all children can learn and develop as they play.
