What we learn

Yep. We have a curriculum. We currently use Development Matters, but the busy bees behind the scenes are working on our very own...stay tuned!

Every early years providers in England, regardless of the curriculum path they follow, are bound to achieve the 7 standards as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (2025). These standards are set into two areas; Prime and Specific.

Prime

The first three areas are the "Prime Areas". Without achieving in these, a child cannot move onto the specific areas. They underpin everything needed to learn; communication and language skills, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. Without these, a child cannot move onto the Specific areas of learning.
